Another approach to 1,000 reps resulting in a systematic recycling and probably an enduring change in double under technique. The concept of reseting is similar to a plyometric principle but in this case the release of resistance comes in the form of reduced reps. The reduced rep period building up to the final 30 rep set slowly reduced the quality of form while reseting at ten recycled the slow deterioration resulting in marked improvements. Eventually the improvements endured throughout the entire progression. At the half way point the improvements would diminish around the 25 rep mark but after speeding the reps up the form endured throughout the entire progression.
Whether enduring a thousand reps or a thousand miles, if something isn't changing during the effort or improving then evolution is not occurring. Yes it's perfectly normal for people to scathe the earth without meaningful purpose or contribution but with all the effort invested in fitness one would assume there is a modicum of personal accountability and reflection. Forging changes within and without come with a curiosity and eagerness to make advantageous changes that only evolution envies. Knowing what to do is half the battle. Knowing how to constantly reset, refine, and improve capabilities is the other half.
