Preparation and system checks continue to highlight progress. Finding the appropriate balance of volume and weight at this stage is a tricky proposition. The bench press would have surely benefited from another 2-3 micro-cycles with supplemental volume and increasing loads; however, additional time is not a luxury available on the option list. At this point, greater gain is derived from the confidence of moving heavier loads and evaluating the operating threshold. It would be nice to continue without concern for upper-end capacity, but promoting success relies on personal knowledge. That is, possessing an intimate understanding of power plant potential, and allocating production resources efficiently. Gundecking the log books without making the rounds only leads to uninformed calculations.
